TODAY'S eTIP(TM): Finding a Mailing List
Mailing lists are great ways to learn more about subjects that
interest you as well as meet great new e-mail pen pals.
Here are three excellent Web sites that maintain extensive
indexes to mailing lists:
* http://www.topica.com/ topica
* http://paml.taronga.com/ PAML - The Directory of Publicly Accessible Mailing Lists
* http://catalog.com/vivian/interest-group-search.html
catalog
* http://www.oakland.edu/rcj/jrn/class/jrn411/fArchives.htm
well vivian is gone but a link is here
In many cases, the best way to find out about mailing lists is to
ask colleagues and friends who share your interests. Many lists
are informally maintained and are not indexed anywhere.
